Condensate drain keeps plugging up

This summer, the condensate drain on my mini split has started to clog up every few weeks. What can I do to avoid the clogs? What about running a cup of 50/50 bleach-water solution through the drain every month?

yes. also hookup a wet type shop vac to the outlet and suck it out. may need to replace the drain hose if it has a thick mold or slime coating inside.

"Cut it twice and it is still too short".
