compressor size

pomelo Member   Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 104	compressor size Can someone give me the btu rating of this compressor? Copeland CRH3-0275-PFV I believe it is a 30k btu (2.5 ton) compressor. I just wanted to make 100 percent sure.

It is in a 20 year old janitrol/goodman unit. I'm really not familiar with copeland nomenclature, but I think the 275 designates 2 3/4 HP.

beenthere An old Tradesmen   Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: PA Posts: 18,662	compressor size The CR34KQ-PFV may be a closer match to the CRH3-0275-PFV 34,000BTUs at 115° Condensing temp, 43,800BTUs at 100° condensing temp.
