compressor problem?

i replaced an compressor today in an 24ABR330A003 carrier cond unit because last tech there said it was bad, loud on shut down.System has txv metering device.pressure tested, vacuumed, charged(by sub cooling)the dang compressor sounds worse then it ever did.Anybody with any clue what is wrong here?sounds like a relief valve has opened up for about a half a min.or so.
