Compatible thermostat for Lennox

Hi there. I'm shopping for a programmable thermostat for my Lennox Elite cb29m. However, it was in the house when we moved in; I dunno if it's a multi-stage, etc. -All I know is we are not using gas and have no ceiling coil heat.

Anyone have any ideas how I can indentify compatible stats, or even suggest a reasonably priced unit?

Hi robdville

You have a fan coil unit and should have a heat pump. If you want a good reliable workhorse thermostat, I would reccomend a White Rodgers 1F89-311 for a non programable or a 1F86-261 for a programmable. It will have the wiring configuration in the box.

I've googled your suggestions, but am having little luck. I've also checked the white-rodgers site, but no record of the 261 thermo. Do you happen to know if this will work?
