Hello all - just became Operations guy for my subdivision's HOA board. We're in Atlanta, and the question involves our community pool bathroom/pump house. In previous years they've put portable electric heaters in the bathrooms to prevent pipe freezing. But I don't like that approach, for safety concerns.
There's mens/womens bathrooms, each with 2 stalls, and a small pump room. All walled into separate rooms of course. My first thought are wall/ceiling mounted 240V fan heaters, with thermostats set around 36. 3 heaters could be about $250 each.
Suggestions for other cost-effective approaches to the problem? Temps here average 34 during the winter, but there are of course cold snaps so single digits aren't unheard of.
Thanks!
