Comfortmaker furnace won't light

I have a comfortmaker Enviro 90 propane furnace which won't light. The igniter is glowing, but it sounds as if the gas valve isn't opening. How do you trouble shoot this?

Check what the diagnostic led light is flashing.

Usually the first thing would be to check if the gas valve is getting 24 V when the HSI is glowing. Do you hear the gas valve click (to open) when the HSI is on?

Are your other gas appliances working?

lol..is the tank full and the LP turned on at furnace?

First thing is check for 24 v at valve while ignitor glows.

A little trick I use is lighting the burners with a Bar B Que lighter.
But you must be very careful.

Careful is right, especially with propane......there was a tech here a few years ago that used that method and did not know there was a leak.....He spent a long time in the hospital from the burns and he's lucky to be alive.

He couldn't smell the LP?

If he didn't check for leaks or didn't realize that there was enough gas in the air to burn him like that, then he was one careless cuss.

Yes guys the tank is full our stove works just fine. To check the voltage, there are 4 wires going to the control. Which is the hot and which is the neutral. The colors black, white, orange and blue. I know in tpical wiring diagrams black is the feed/hot wire and white is the neutral. They all run to a circuit board. Where can I get a schematic with out forking out $30.00 or so. Yea I am a tight wad in some ways. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Propane is heavier than air, it was down near the floor. Call was furnace not lighting.
