you need to check the exhaust as well. ensure there are no sags and that there is 1/4" per foot slope back to the furnace from the termination point.

You are going to need to have the draft motor measured with a manomator or a magnihelic gauge. Another very real possibility is that the secondary heat exchanger is bad...........either way unless you have some specialty tools, its time to call a professional out..........DO NOT CALL JUST ANYONE !call a carrier dealer, and ask for there most experenced tech, who has a manomator and knows how to use it...........trust me on this one!

Our service guy will be back in a few days, i was just trying to figure it out myself...i do have a manometer, but i dont know the first thing about how to use them...i will get service guy to school me on that when he is back tho

one more thing..i thought i read a few days ago on a forum (maybe this one i cant remember) that there was a class action lawsuit on secondary heat exchangers on these units..i did not know if this could contribute to my problem or not, but it sounded serious enough

just to update, we hooked up manometer to inducer motor and found that it was not putting out enough air pressure for the pressure switch...time to order new inducer motor and all should be well..thanks to all for the help

Glad you got it figured out. I've never seen an inducer that was good enough with the intake off but not good enough with it on. Thanks for learning experience.
