coleman furnace

Our Coleman furnace is making a grinding noise or squeal during start up. It stops once the main blower energizes. Can you give us any advice?

Thanks

If this is a high efficency gas furnace, it could be the blower bearings for the combustion chamber going bad.

Yeap, it's the venter/flue gas motor, usually if it's already making a noise,
it won't last much longer, a lot of the newer motor are sealed from any further lubrication, but you can try to get some 10w-30 oil into each end of the shaft where the bearings are located, might buy you a week or 2.
I have several good used and new venter motors in my shop that might work I can give you a deal on, better than sending them to the scrap yard.
