Cold Radiators

Hi, I've just found this site and was hoping somebody may be able to help.

I've removed some radiators whilst decorating my room and now one of them will no longer heat up, plus the radiator that backs onto that (which wasnt removed) also no longer heats up. They both have a thermostat on. So far Ive tried bleeding but I dont seem to be getting anywhere. I have also pulled the cold water through the valve until it became warm but it doesnt retain any heat.

If any one has any ideas it would be appreciated before I spend mega bucks on a plumber.

ps both radiators are downstairs if that makes any difference.

why'th dont thou dance upstairs and bleed'th thee highest raaadiator and make'th sure thou system is refilling its own self then you may send out a mesenger post haste whilst I nap'th, letting my court know'th how thou has made out.

Wow now I know why I failed english so many times but here itis in American, sounds like you have air in the system.

Thanks for that. Ive bled all the upstairs radiators and shifted abit of air but there still not heating up. (All the rest work great)

If you have any other ideas on what I can try it would be appreciated.

now'th(just kitten) get your favorite helper and he,she,it can bleed the top one whilst you bleed from bottom to top as he,she,it can open the bleeder up top and and allow the water to drop and the air to get force out. the air is still in the two you started at

All of them, nothing worse than a half-a$$ed pipe kicker.
Like I said make sure the water is being refilled.
Hate to state the obvious but the valve is open correct?

Might this be steam heat?
why does thou' not replaceth the valve'eth? Not surly, for the heck of it, they are inexpensive enough.

Also,did thou, paint whilst decorating?
Because there may well'eth be a chance some Paint (or something) may have clogged it up, either on the valve'eth or elsewhere'th,

Someone painted for me and this is exactly what Had happened, a tiny speck of paint was clogging up the little steam release hole, on the valve'eth, and once it was opened up again'eth (the hole)
