Cold in Colorado
Hi all,
I'm having slightly different problems with my Bryant 383KAV than the following thread: Bryant 383kav What I've tried. We had a fault 34, we unplugged the HSI and tested continuity. It had an open loop, so we removed it and saw a hairline fracture. We replaced it and it still wouldn't work. We noticed the fuse was out on the board and replaced it. Upon start up it blew again. I unplugged PL1 and turned it on and the fuse was fine. So I unplugged each of the components on the other end of the wire hardness, and repluged in PL1. The fuse blew on the last components I installed, which was pins 1 and 7, going to three switches. Removing the wiring from the switches I have continuity through all of them, all are NC. With PL1 installed I have continuity from pins 1 and 7 to ground, with the plug removed it don't. It seems likea board issue, but I followed the traces and they seem fine. No clear evidence of failure, but that may not be the case. Please let me know if I should try something else before ording the board. Thanks. |

Cold in Colorado
I'd have to think it's one of those switches that went bad.
