Choosing a Evap unit

Hi Guys,

My AC unit, although working, is going to need replaced. I will most likely look at replacing both the "A" coil and the O/S unit, so they are match to some degree. Mt question:
Are that any units (TRANE, Lennox, etc) noted for their reliability, better construction etc. I don't want to "cheap" on this.
BTW, I have no idea what the current unit is as there are no tags. I do know the furnace was installed in '95, or so.

Thanks for any replies.

One brand is about the same as the next. They all have builder grade, and they all have upper end units.

How well its installed makes the most difference.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I later found my MFG tag on my condenser. It's a Goodman 3 ton unit.
