Chimney Drafting Seems Un-Solveable


That does no good at night time. And if it were to catch on fire and damage the house. You could have trouble with the insurance company.

Obviously it doesn't work at night as it is powered by the sun. The pressure differential evens out at night and the stove doesn't back draft into the house. Did you think I light the stove with this on top of the chimney??? I said I removed it, in case you didn't see that.

Chimney Drafting Seems Un-Solveable


Just wondering how attic is vented..natural roof vents/power roof vents AND how well ducts/air handler in attic are sealed..could cause negative pressure in house via duct work? Check pressures at supply and return airs with equipment off..just place tissue in front of grills to see if negative ...Just another kick at the can.
