Question

Charge question for the pros

How much would you charge for an after hours service call for a forced AC issue and also how much would you charge to fix a failed capacitor and check and top off the Freon?

Charge question for the pros

After hours call is $156 minimum. Refrigerant is $12.64 a pound. Caps depend on which one. An average 35/5/440 is around $30.

Comparing prices from one place to the next is only going to tell you it cost less to run a business here then it does there.

Thanks for the replies. I live in the Mid-Atlantic. Just trying to get a ballpark total charge for the service call, Freon and capacitor.
