Changing from a Honeywell T6069A1065 to a Honeywell RTH8500

Hi there,
im having a bit of trouble with this and hope that someone can help me out.
The wires coming out of the wall to the old stat are as follows,
RED
BLUE
BROWN
YELLOW
ORANGE
BLACK
There was a little diagram on the back of the old stat,as follows

The Red,Brown and Blue were hooked up the the fan motor
The Y and O were hooked up the the valves
and the Black was under L1.

The new stat has almost nothing that lines up with these, any help would be great.
Thanks in advance

Is it for a heat pump? Post the brand name, model and serial # and someone may recognize it and help. w/o that info no one knows what you have and are trying to do.
