Central Ac Unit Keep Causing My Electric Braker To Kick Off

Why Does My Central Ac Unit Keep Causing My Electric Braker To Kick Off . We have a Rudd central ac unit and it is extremely hot here now. The fan will keep blowing, but the outside unit will shut off, due to the circut braker tripping. We can flip the braker and the outside until fan and compresser will kick on. Run for a while and then kick off.

Overamping, getting too hot, weak compressor, low on refrigerant. Slightly possible the breaker is too small but if it's been working for a long time prior than most likely not. Could also be that the breaker is weak.

Usually when the breakers start to trip the compressor is on it's last leg. Having said that when it's completely gone the breaker usually will not hold for even one split second on condenser start up.
