Carrier Infinity Thermostat

I have a Carrier thermostat and heating system. The thermostat will not permit the opportunity to program the fan speed during heating mode. According to the homeowners guide (page 23), it indicates the programmable fan is automatically defaulted to off. Your dealer will need to turn programmable fan on in the delaer thermostat setup screen. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Thank you.

If you don't get an answer this evening, I have a shop I work with that is a Bryant dealer. I will quiz him in the morning and get back to you.

That is a pretty cool system. Does kind of keep you tied to the line though.

Carrier Infinity Thermostat

OK...Here is what I discovered.

If in fact you have an Infinity/Evolution control (stat), open the door and locate the "Advanced Setting" button. Hold this button down for aprox 10 seconds. There may be a flash before that indicating that you have entered the "Advanced Settings" area. From here you should be able to turn the programmable feature of the fan on. Good Luck.

Also................This advice came with a warning. If you do not make these setting correctly, you may find yourself without heat, and then calling the Carrier doctor

But, and I stand by this; It is your system, your thermostat, and you can push any buttons you want. You just need to be prepared to accept the responsibility for your actions. Chances are you will be fine.
