Carrier Furnace Vent Motor Question

Hi,

I have a 10 year old Carrier furnace. It's vent motor (Series 140) intermittently has a grinding sound. My remedy so far has been to shut down the furnace for a minute and restart. The frequency has been about 3 times over the past 2 weeks.

Is the motor in need of servicing? Can it be serviced?

Thank you.
