Question

Carrier furnace blower adjustment??

I own a very small house with a carrier furnace (model 58 MCA) and the blower is waaaayyyy too powerful. Just wondering if anyone had an idea how I could slow it down. When it kicks on, it blasts the crap outta my house.

Carrier furnace blower adjustment??

Hi psillypsymun

The best way to go about doing this is to do a temperature rise. If the rise is low slow blower down, if rise is to high speed blower up. This should never be guessed at, if you don't know how to do this. Please consult a qualified HVAC technician.

Good luck
Rusty
