Question

Carrier 9200 Won't Run

Hi,
I Have 2 Carrier 9200 Weatrhermakers. One Upstairs And One Down. The Upstairs One Will Not Turn On, Blow Air, Run Fan, Heat Or Cool. Nothing. I Checked The Power To Unit And The Utility Outlet Installed Near Unit Has Good Power To It. The Little Switch Is On In The Unit, The 3 Amp Fuse Is Good. I See What Looks Like A Thermal Fuse (white Ceramic Block With Two Wires), And On The Unit It Also Says Something About Another Shutoff Safety. Help! We Are One Hour From Anything And If I Can Fix It Myself, I Definitely Want To! Thanks For Any Help!
David

The ceramic block with two wires is the ignitor, very fragile.
Put the blower door back on securely. Make sure the power switches are all on. Look in the little round window on the blower door and see if there is a red light on the circuit board. Let me know what you find.

Is there a ssu switch on the side of the furnace with a fuse in it. If so is the fuse blown or loose.
