carrier 58SX ignition problem

unit keeps shutting down after trying to fire up. Burners fire ok but seems the main blower does not run. the relay on main circuit board sparks then shuts down. I did somehow get it to run for awhile but now is doing same shut down

The easiest way to do this is to first, secure all power to your unit, usually done by opening the disconnect; then find the schematic, or electrical drawing for your unit and on that, locate the flame sensor, there will be a legend of all the components and they are usually labeled...(ie)..f/s....once found note the color coding of the wiring and trace the wiring from the control board back to the flame sensor...its alot easier than it sounds ...really

I got a schematic and also some input from a area distributer. He suggested I check the lp fuel sensing circuits as this might be what is causing unit to shut down after initial firing. The main blower does work as does everything else... it is just shutting down after blowers are fully firing about 1 min.

carrier 58SX ignition problem

the only thing i can think off is maybe u have done something to the ground .this is often overlooked in servicing .its been a long while for me but if these new unit have a vac diafram check the rubber hose ,if this diafram doesent sense a positive or negative preasure they shut down after about a minute .also ,is there no led beep codes on the elect board .there will be a sight glass and the trouble light will blink ,count the blinks ie: 2long 1 short .maybe check for a blockage in the duct ...filter maybe thats about all i can offer......
