Carrier 58SS100

I have 58SS100 (1983 model). It has had a new (fan control circuit board?) installed about a week or two ago. When the emergency switch at furnace is turned on with thermostat up, the only thing it does is the little red light blinks. No noise, no nothing. The light is just a steady blink. Please HELP!!!

Somebody please HELP. If anyone knows bigMikeB will you email him and ask him to please contact me on here or at tedsamuels@insightbb.com. I feel certain he can point me in the right direction. He did before. I can't email him as I do not have 20 posts on here yet. You have to have this to email someone. Thanks Theo in Louisville...freezing!!!

Try jumping out R and W on the control board in the furnace, this should start the heat up. It sounds like you have no call for heat to the board from the thermostat.
