Carrier 38YCC fan doesn't shut off..water leakage

We have a Carrier furnace with a heat pump and an Aprilaire 600 humidifier. We built the house 8 years ago so somewhat new. We are on a maintenance contract and have our HVAC serviced twice a year, fall for the furnace, spring for a/c. During the fall checkup, we had the humidifier filter replaced. Lately we noticed the furnace or the fan running all night. The weather has been warm so it is using the heat pump. Yesterday there was a great deal of water on the floor. We initially thought it was the water heater but noticed the hose to the humidifier seemed wet. We also noticed a lot of water going into the drain from the furnace hoses. Usually we see this in the summer and never this much. We cleaned up the water and noticed a little more leakeage after that, then haven't seen anything but dampness today. But the blower doesn't shut off unless I turn off the furnace. Any idea of what might be happening and is it something we can fix or will I need to call our serviceman?

If the humidistat is set up to humidify without a call for heat. it may be turned up too high.
