Carrier 25HBB vs 25HCC

I recently did an addition project and the hvac contractor spec'ed out the Carrier "25HCC530" model AC/Heat Pump unit on the contract to heat and cool the new area which is about 1600 SF. A few months later now I'm reviewing the manual and see the unit they used was the "25HBB3" or "25HBC3/5". From what I can tell from the Carrier specs available to consumers online, the HB is a base series while the HC is a performance series with more features and efficiency:

25 = HP H = RES HP B=Base B = Puron 3=13 SEER

I am fairly satisfied with the performance of the unit except for the noise level it produces in heat mode but not happy about being shortchanged. Does anyone know how different these two heat pump units are in price and do I have a case against this dealer? Thanks.
