Can anyone help me get my furnace to light?

I have a Luxaire furnace and when I turned my heat back on a couple of days ago the blower motor came on but no heat from the unit. The filter is new and I'm use to lighting a Oil burner in my old house with a long match. I have no idea how to light these natural gas systems so is there anyone out there who can help me out? I live in Minnesota and it's starting to get cold in here. Please help me.......

try reading the directions usually inside the cabinet you have to turn the gas valve knob to pilot and depress it for several seconds than put a match at the end of where the skinny 1\4 inch silver pipe goes than hold button for 30 to 45 sec than release and turn back to on do with tstat off so it dosent burn ya when burners come on
oh and lighting an oil burner with a match thats a good one sounds like that needed work also as that is in no way normal or safe especially if there is oil built up
