A/C unit not cooling

BIG KERM Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2012 Posts: 1	A/C unit not cooling What are the signs to let me know if my TXV isnt working.What should I look for concerning pressures or how can I check it?

turnermech Member   Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: MD Posts: 271	A/C unit not cooling higher than normal head pressure. lower than normal suction pressure. higher than normal amp draw on compressor. higher than normal superheat. no cooling or not enough cooling.

In that case most posted above would be reversed ecept the superheat. lower head, higher suction and lower amps.
