It's a very low resistance under 10 Ohms

Ok. Are you asking about electrical resistance, or are you asking about its resistance to vapor and liquid refrigerant flow?

When I read the original post I just assumed durai was asking what the resistance of the compressor's motor windings should be...which is zero.

Zero resistance on compressor motor windings would be a shorted out compressor. The compressor motor winding MUST have a resistance.
