Thanks Yuri. But sometimes even doing homework a professional opinion can change everything and clear up much faster. I am having a lot questions that I could open 10 post. But I'll take my time.

I use charts that I got at some of the HVAC class. I use the wet bulb / dry bulb & look on the charts for the superheat subcooling

Kenmac, Are you using this formula:

SH = [(3 x indoor wb) - 80 - ambient] / 2

Do you use a thermometer to get wet buld /dry buld?

A/C basic questions:


That formula works fine for any fixed metering device unit that doesn't have a charging chart.

You can get a Super Heat slide chart.

Use a Sling Psychrometer, or digital psychrometer to find indoor wet bulb.
