50,000 btu rudd furnace with hot surface igniter the inducer fan comes on and the igniter lites and when the flame comes on and the igniter goes out the flame goes out as well i have checked all wire connections and replace igniter and still no luck i cant find any other flame sencing device on the furnace
ok when your furnace dies there should be a blinking led light its going to be blinking a code. and on your front panel it will say what that code means. thats where your promblem is. and it sounds like it might be either your flame proving sensor located on the opposite side from your hot surface ignitor. the only way to test that is with a volt and ohm meter.
the other posiblity is your pressure switch. then you would have to test the switch and if its good then you need a manometer to test it. thats where you probilly need a tech to go out there.
