I have a Rheem 90 high efficiency furnace. I have been told that it creates a negitive pressure in the home when it sucks air out of the home for combustion and then blows it outside via the exhaust. I understand this and can believe what I'm told. Here is the question: should I run an air supply tube from outside to my furnace so that home air pressure is neutral? pros & cons please?
Not using inside air for combustion is the benefit. Outside air for combustion makes less carbon monoxide than using inside air. Pipe it outside.
