When the pilot was lighting and then going out, did the pilot flame fully envelope the flame sensor? If not then the pilot orifice or the pilot assy is probably in need of cleaning.
Does your new igniter now throw a spark through the pilot flame path with a call for heat?...or not?
I don't think there is anything wrong with your flame sensor and spark ignite. The main problem is with the pilot. There is also a possibility that when you replaced your flame sensor and spark ignite, you messed up something with your pilot that is why it is not lighting up at all.
