Bryant Inducer Motor

I have a bryant plus 90i. The inducer motor started to squeal bearing/bushing dry. I removed & lubed through small openings in fron & rear. reinstalled is quiet now? I am glad I was sitting down when I called the dealer $595.00 for the motor. Any other sources. Thanks Randy

Bryant Inducer Motor

I have a plus 90 and a while back ago replaced the inducer blower. Very simple job. Found the inducer online. The only problem I had was the orientation of the inducer on the furnace so I could have a drain nipple at the bottom. End result was that I fabricated a drain nipple into the inducer. Has been running well for 2 winters now. I will hunt down the site I got the inducer from and let ya know.

Here is a copy from my earlier posts.....

Sorry did not mention this before because I was not sure if I could or not...hope I am not violating any of the posting rules. I am just a consumer and have no financial interest in this company.

Supplystuf on Ebay. They are McCombs Supply out of PA.

They have been great to work with. My first inducer was damaged in transit and a replacement is on its way to me now. Easy to communicate with both email and phone.

Can you walk me throug how to remote and lubed the inducer motor and what kind of lubricant you used.
I have Bryant plus 80 gas furnace and the motor gets very noiser now. I may need to do the same thing as you did

I would also like to know what lubricant was used and what parts you lubed.

Also, does anyone have a part number for the entire inducer unit?
