Bryant Evolution Plus 95s Door Clip???

I had a new Bryant furnace installed a couple of days ago and came down to a basement full of water. It turns out the installers hung my water softener discharge hose up to get it out of the way. When the water softener ran overnight it sprayed salt water everywhere. Needless to say, I am not very happy.

I took the front door off the furnace to see how much (if any) water got in through the door and a clip fell off. I can not seem to find out where it goes. I will put a call into them tomorrow about the installers leaving the hose the way they did.

In the meantime, does anybody know where this clip goes? See attached pictures. The door shuts fine and the furnace seems to run fine so I am not sure where this clip goes or what its purpose is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bryant Evolution Plus 95s Door Clip???

that clip is to hold wires in place on the right side of the furnace just below the sticker on the outside of the cabinet , it is not necessary, just a retainer for the wiring harness
