Bryant 395c furnice gas valve will not open

Hi,
I have a Bryant 395c furnace. The gas valve will not open. It goes thru the start up. The hot surface igniter glows for several cycles, then goes out without the gas valve opening. The same thing happens on the test procedure. What is preventing the valve to open?
Thank you.

At the moment ignition is glow, you should have 24vac at gas valve. You need also do continuity test.

Thanks for the answer. I have no voltage at the valve. How do I do a continuity test?

The control board sends the 24vac to gas valve. Bad control board.
