Bryant 355MAV Inducer Motor won't run

Checked variable speed furnace control for 115-vac across PL2-4 and NEUTRAL-L2. Voltmeter measures 110-vac. This was on the homes 1st floor furnace where the inducer motor will not start after the heat sequence is initiated and the blower motor runs.

Should only 110-vac instead of 115-vac cause the inducer motor to not start?

There is a second identical furnace and furnace controller in the home to heat the 2nd floor zones. The voltage is 121-vac when testing the voltage across the same PL2-4 and L2 terminals.

I do not understand why only 110-vac instead of 121-vac like on the other furnace controller.

I am thinking the inducer motor should start with 110-vac. Checked for obstructions and there are none. Motor turns freely.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Just checked the PL 11-6 and PL11-12 voltage to the inducer motor. Getting 120-VAC directly to the motor at this point.

So, whatever the reason only measuring 100-VAC at the PL2-4 and NEUTRAL-L2 on the control board does not seem to affect getting 120-VAC at the inducer motor.

Beginning to believe defective motor. Going to try a few more diagnostic checks.

Probably will swap out identical motor from the 2nd floor furnace to replace what appears to be a defective inducer motor on the 1st floor furnace. Will be purchasing a new replacement inducer motor if the swapped out motor runs.

No need to go through all that. The motor has voltage and is not working, that's good enough to call it shot.
