bryant 350mav


my furnace just kind of kicks on and runs whenever it wants the thermostate is set at 65 and its 69 in the house and it wants to run any ideas on what my problem might be?

What type of thermostat do you have. If it is an older electronic or el cheapo those can cause problems especially the power stealing type. Buy a good Honeywell Focus Pro from HDepot and try it instead.

So it's running in heating mode past desired set point (stat temperature setting).

What Yuri said is where I'd begin as it would appear that the stat is bad.
