Boiler replacement-Questions

Hello all, this is my first post to this forum and it looks like there are a lot of good people here.

I am replacing my 20 year old Peerless boiler with a new Burnham unit. I'd like to be able to isolate the circulators in case they ever need to be replaced so I don't have to drain the system. What is the best way to do this? My old system has two circulators mounted on the return side, one side threaded 3/4 pipe and the other 3/4 sweat to copper. I am using Taco circulators if that matters. Thank you.

Not knowing the exact setup you have, take alook at this pdf.
It is typical of a two zone direct system. Always pump AWAY from the boiler (The primary on the return is only for packaging) and isolate the zone valves with full port valves.
If this doesnt address your system, give us more info on your specific system.

Use flanges with shut offs built in to them.
