Boiler blowing pressure relief valve
( this is a branch off of my orginal thread i think i posted in the wrong section, http://www.diychatroom.com/f7/basebo...leeders-84146/ )
I had accidentally removed all the air from my expansion tank yesterday, then i started blowing the pressure relief valve @ 30 PSI.
In order to fix the problem, I removed the expansion tank from the system, drained all the water out. I then filled the expansion tank to 15 PSI then re-installed the tank onto the system.
Though now I am still blowing the pressure relief valve, Im starting out at about 18 or so PSI, then it gradually keeps building pressure as the system is running till it blows @ 30 PSI.
Any thoughts on what could be wrong?
Turn off the manual valve tot eh auto water feed.
