blower problem on carrier furnace

On the carrier furnace, whats the process for finding a bad capacitor.
The blower wants to turn and does but eventually shuts down.

You need a electrical testing meter that can read micro-farads, remove the capacitor and touch the leads of the meter to the terminals of the cap, you reading has to be within the manufactures specified rating. +/- 10 %.Its that simple.

Or just go out and get one and install it. If problem remains, the capacitor was a cheap attempt. Cheaper then going out and buying a meter to test the old one.
