Blower not shuttung off

I have an older payne furnace (early80's) and the blower will not shut off once it reached desired temp. the gas valve closes but the blower will keep running. I then have to disconect the power and when the temp drops reconnect it the the blower starts right up could this be the thermostate or maybe transformer? any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the furnace has a circuit board to control the blower, relay may be stuck. If the blower switch is set to on on the thermostat it will not shut off.

Blower not shuttung off

skip,
that is what I thought it might be is the relay. I disconnected the green wire from board and blower still kept running,Am I right to asume it wouldn't be the hlimit being the furnace lights. The tech at APED told me it might be the transformer (not sure about that one) I've tried smacking the relay but no go,do you know if the relays are replacable or is it easier to replace whole board?

Thanks Z

If your heat is working it is neither the high limit or transformer. You probably have two relays with clear covers on the board. These boards seem to have that problem. Best to replace the board as the relays are soldered to the board. The new board has upgraded relays.
