Blower not kicking in
My blower is not kicking in.
I have a Lennox G4OUH-48B-090-11 S/N 5905K83441
What are the troubleshooting steps I need to take in order to define the problem?
The first step is to get the manual/wiring diagram. (maybe someone here can get you one).
The next step is to start tracing circuits starting with the control from the thermostst, low voltage, control board fuse and any safety lockouts.
If the above looks good, then move on to motor voltages and capacitor.
There are lethal voltages involved. If you're not comfortable then hire a pro.
Need to check for 120 volts to the motor from the circuit board when the fan should be running. No voltage then you have a bad board, 120 volts present then you have a bad motor or capacitor.
I believe all those parts are still under warranty based on your serial number. Might be better to call the lennox dealer out to get the parts for free and pay the labor.
