Blower Motor Not Starting

My blower motor does not run when the thermostat calls for heat. The motor does run when the thermostat is set to heat off and the fan is set to on. I assume this means the problem is likely the blower motor thermostat. but how do I find that thermostat and test it?

You need to provide more detail. Model # etc.

If there's an draft inducer fan, does it come on first? Does flame igniter glow? Do you get burners to light?

You might just need to clean flame sensor located near one of the burners. Read Yuri's advice and see his pics by searching 'flame sensor'.

need more info, what is the brand and model number of furnace? how old is it the unit? since you say it doesn't even run with thermostat in on position, then its probably the motor itself or whatever controls it. Which may be a circuit board, relay, or fan temp. switch.
