blower motor


i have a g e blower motor 5kcp39gg it has a p211s after the # what does the p 211s mean and what is a replacement motor for it

better information to ask you would be, what hp rating is the current one, what direction IE: clockwise or counterclockwise lead end? What size frame? What kind of mount it has IE: belly band or mounts are welded to motor? An universal would be the cheaper route as long as you know these answers....

it goes a trean air handler it is 1/3 hp 208/230 volts f.l.amps are2.1 rpm 1075 it has a ban around it is removeable

its in a trane air handler it is 1/3 hp 208/230volts fl amps 2.1 rpm 1075 it has a belly ban looking from the back of motor it is turning counterclockwise

blower motor


take your specs you have just told us and go to a motor shop, they can then point you in the direction of a replacement motor. You didn't state if there was an issue with your current one, I'm assuming so.... Have you checked for voltage to the motor or what type of problem are you having with it?

motor is makeing noise when start up then runs fine

Do you have a meter that checks capacitance? If so, start there. If not, a Capacitor would be a much cheaper way to start than a motor.
