Bleeding the air out of a boiler system

I just completed repairs on a three zone baseboard heat boiler system (replace zone valves and expansion tank). I am now having issues bleeding the air out of the system. On the return side (from top to bottom) are three drain valves, three shut off valves and three zone valves. Pictures below. Can anyone walk me through the correct process. Thanks

Bleeding the air out of a boiler system

one zone at a time....connect a long drain hose to one petcock and let it cycle the water make up right thru the boiler up thru the zone being drained and the air will flush out noting ON no circ pumps, no boiler, shut the isolating valves as you do each zone..then the EX tank will catch the rest

Get and install a Spirotherm air vent.Installed properly and you will never have to worry about air in the system again. It worrks.
Nothing else is even close.
