Best product to "seal" access panel in hvac duct?

I don't really mind the tstat issue. I have zones for first floor and second floor already. I would just put the heat or air on using the first floor tstat.

Doc, what would you reconfigure? And what would you do to zone it?

Alright! Someone on my page. So back to the original question, haha. What would be a good seal to put around the hinged door? Some type of rubber gasket/1/4 inch roll? Thanks everyone.

You'd need one main trunk line with a motorized damper in the duct running to each zone/stat.
