Best CO detector?

I recently moved the T stat to my little girl's room, as she's the only one in the zone that will need conditioned air. It got me to thinking that it would also be wise to install a CO detector in her room. It will have to be DC, as the outlets are too low and the cord would make a choking hazard. Can you folks tell me which CO detector is the best one / and is the most sensitive?
Also, I forget, does CO sink or float when present... is it better to have it higher or lower?

thanks!

Honeywell makes a decent battery operated one I think it's like 20-30 ppm. You don't want to be too sensitive or you might set it off smokin near it.
