Best choice for independent hot water heater?

Right now my boiler is set up for domestic hot water year round.
I'm very much looking forward to shutting this sucker off as soon as warmer temps arrive.

I've heard varying opinions about whether electric is better than propane, and vice versa.

I have propane right now for the range.

Will be installing it myself.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
Specific models? Anything to avoid?

Thanks.

HOT WATER heater?

Why would you need to heat hot water?????

Do you mean hot water tank or maybe a water heater.?

Judging by your change in speech i think you just morphed into the Hulk!

AO Smith makes a good standard and indirect vent water heater. Got a sweet ignition system on it too.

GE makes a nice one so does Whirlpool.

My kid is an engineer at Bosch so I get all their stuff at discount.

Been thinking about getting a Bosch thankless model for my home.
