I'm installing a bathroom exhaust fan/light over a shower and I'll run a duct through an exterior wall. This is a ground floor bath in a two story home. The fan/light is a Broan 744SFL rated for use above showers, as long as it is GFCI protected. The duct will be short, maybe 2 - 3 feet, 4" diameter.
Does anyone know if there are restrictions on how far from a door or window the duct can be terminated? I think there is some restriction on placement of the termination point, wall cap. I thought it was 3 feet from any opening so there is less of a chance that expelled air will reenter the home.
