Basement refinish

I am doing a basement refinish and I was wondering if they make a main HVAC duct that I can put between the ceiling joists.I have ceilings that are only 7ft high and with the duct it leaves about roughly a little over 6ft.Like I said my question is do they make something to go between the joists and how do they connect?

Usually the round supply ducts for each room go in the joists. You could in theory make a square trunk line to go in the joist space, but then all your individual runs would be going across the joists not with them & they would have to go below the joists which would just create more low cielings.
