base board heating system


I replaced the pressure reducing valves on my boiler but it wont adjust. I turned the adjutmtent screw on top clockwise and counter clockwise and nothing happened. I also ensured that it was installed in the proper directions. Any suggestions

May have a clog in the pipe feeding it.

Ayuh,... Or the pipe after it....

It shouldn't need adjustin' anyways, they come preset at 12psi...

Do you have a backflow preventer on this system...If so then you will not be able to adjust easily as the check valve wont allow pressure to back bleed. Are you trying to increase pressure or decrease it. I agree with the others as well could be an obstruction in the supply line.
