Back-up heating.

What kind of electric heater or heaters( or any other kind of heat source) can I use if my boiler pump breaks down and I have no way of fixing for a couple of days in minus 40 degree weather. I have a 3,000 sq. ft. house, any sugestions would be helpfull.

About 10-1500 watt space heaters.

Depending on the boiler, and how its piped. You may be able to open up a valve or 2 and get gravity heat from it.

5000 watt yellow/orange electric construction heater if you alter the plug on it to a clothes dryer type and have a socket for a clothes dryer. Can hot wire it if necessary with an electricians help.
